A: It will be extremely valuable to you and to us for you to provide complete information, including answering all of the questions. The more information you can provide on your profile, the easier recruiters and hiring managers will be able to evaluate your qualifications for position(s). As you complete your profile, you will find that some questions are optional and some are required. You will be required to enter an e-mail address. We encourage and prefer you to provide a personal (not work) e-mail address.
Q: How long will my profile remain active in the database?
A: To better serve you, your profile will remain active as reasonably necessary and appropriate unless you indicate otherwise. However, we encourage you to update your profile on a regular basis.

A: To change your password use the "change my password" link located in the Career Center section. You will be prompted to enter your old password and new password twice to make the change. A: SmithBucklin has teams of internal recruiters and human resource professionals that work on a number of job openings at any given time, therefore, it is not possible for us to provide the name, telephone number or e-mail address of the recruiter or hiring manager. Recruiters can search the database for your resume/profile and may contact you to discuss your interest and next steps if your qualifications match an available position. If your profile is appropriate for the available job, the recruiter or hiring manager will contact you directly. This is why it is also important for you to keep your candidate profile as up-to-date as possible.
Q: What happens to my profile once I have applied?
A: If you have applied for a specific job, your profile will be reviewed by the hiring manager and/or recruiter. You should expect to be contacted only if you will be invited to interview.

A: No, our system allows you to update and change your e-mail address once you have logged on to your existing account. Please log on to your existing profile and locate the e-mail address field in the personal information section. By changing your e-mail address here, you will also be changing the e-mail address you use to log in. As a reminder, we ask that you use a personal (not work) e-mail account.
