First, SmithBucklin presents a transition team with extensive experience. A dedicated transition leader is also assigned. He or she serves as the bridge between the SmithBucklin staff team, the board of directors and the current management and/or standalone staff team. Part of the transition leader's job is to review all facets of the move with client leaders and staff. The transition leader has overall responsibility and accountability of ensuring a professional, courteous and successful process.
Our main focus during the transition is on the organization's people, as well as its database, historical records, intellectual property, fixed assets and third-party relationships. We partner with volunteer leaders and current staff to transfer the knowledge, history and culture of the association with minimum disruption.
