Stacy Miller serves as president of The France Foundation, which was acquired in July 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of SmithBucklin. Stacy leads all aspects of the accredited medical education company, including strategic planning, educational development, client service, collaboration, operational excellence, accreditation, employee mentoring, performance monitoring and financial reporting.
Stacy joined The France Foundation in 1999 and was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. In this role, she successfully led the company through their reaccreditation in 2010 by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), during which The France Foundation received commendation as a provider of continuing medical education (CME). Similarly, also in 2010, Stacy led the company as it received the highest level of pharmacy education accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). These accreditations place The France Foundation amongst the highest level of medical education providers.
Stacy is actively involved in all educational programming for The France Foundation and chairs the France Foundation Educational Alliance Board, providing strategic direction for its pharmacy and medical education programs. She is also dedicated to educating others involved in medical education, serving as a co-author in CE Measure and presenting at the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions annual meeting, and has been recognized for her efforts in Medical Marketing & Media. Stacy is a member of the Alliance Finance Committee.
Prior to joining The France Foundation, Stacy worked for Eberstadt Fleming, Inc., serving as institutional sales analyst on Wall Street for an investment banking firm that focused on the healthcare and chemical industries.
Stacy holds a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. She also attended New York University, where her studies were finance-focused.
