Stephanie Yanecek leads SmithBucklin’s Marketing & Communication Services unit, which specializes in marketing, communications, research, editorial services and creative design. This expertise results in service offerings that include positioning and branding strategy, convention and event promotion and marketing, member and industry publications, member retention and recruitment programs, media relations, market research and visual design. In addition, Stephanie works with client organizations to achieve growth through the utilization of SmithBucklin’s innovation and new product development methodology.

Stephanie began her career at SmithBucklin in January 2000 as a manager in Marketing & Communication Services. In January 2007, Stephanie was part of the team that established and launched the SmithBucklin Innovation Center.

Her background includes work with new product development, product management, branding and marketing strategy. Stephanie has been a key player and primary driver in the ongoing growth of numerous SmithBucklin clients and she has been vital in the organization, development and integration of SmithBucklin’s Innovation Center and the company’s innovation and new product development process.

Prior to joining SmithBucklin, Stephanie worked at Zenith Electronics in product management. Her responsibilities included managing complete product family lines for profitability and leading cross-functional teams across areas of manufacturing, sales, finance, marketing and engineering. Her work directly led to Zenith’s inaugural roll-out of its first high-definition television (HDTV) to the retail market.

She graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing major and she holds an M.B.A from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
